Contact LoamCalc Agronomic Lab
Have technical feedback on our mathematical models, want to report an agronomic discrepancy, or require enterprise contractor spec sheet licensing? We welcome peer review from agronomists, civil engineers, and commercial growers.
Direct Communication Channels
LoamCalc is maintained by a dedicated team of horticultural engineers and soil science professionals. We read every message and prioritize empirical accuracy and transparent mathematics above all else.
We maintain absolute editorial and algorithmic independence: LoamCalc does not accept sponsored product placements, paid material reviews, or commercial manufacturer endorsements in any of our calculation tools or technical reference guides. All density coefficients, flow ratings, and stoichiometry formulations are derived strictly from published peer-reviewed science and government extension literature.
If you represent a university agricultural extension service, USDA NRCS regional soil lab, or professional engineering body (e.g., SSSA, ASABE, Irrigation Association) and wish to submit empirical test datasets or suggest formula calibrations, please include [Peer Review] in your email subject line.
For questions regarding bulk multi-seat Pro licensing for landscape crews, custom company PDF branding, invoice receipts, or Stripe transaction reconciliation, please include [Pro Support] along with your transaction reference.
Our Agronomic Peer-Review Protocol
Every calculator published on LoamCalc undergoes systematic validation against peer-reviewed agricultural engineering benchmarks. When an agronomic formula inquiry or discrepancy report is submitted, our editorial process follows a strict 3-step evaluation protocol:
- Literature & Standard Benchmarking: Inquiries are cross-referenced against authoritative bodies including USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Handbooks, Cornell Waste Management Institute compost guidelines, and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE S398).
- Mathematical Verification & Edge-Case Stress Testing: Proposed adjustments are executed across extreme boundaries (e.g., highly saline substrates, zero-matric head soils, ultra-dense clay horizons) to ensure computational stability.
- Transparent Versioning & Public Attribution: If a mathematical parameter, bulk density constant, or crop coefficient is updated, the change is logged with public attribution to the contributing researcher or institution in our guide updates.
Inquiry Guidelines
Reporting a Calculation Discrepancy
When submitting a correction for our soil volume, compost C:N stoichiometry, or pipe friction loss models, please include:
- The exact URL of the calculator or technical guide.
- Your input parameters (dimensions, soil texture, bulk density, flow rate).
- Expected theoretical output vs. calculated output with relevant standard citations (e.g., ASABE S398, USDA Handbook 436).
Feature & Calculator Requests
We actively develop new tools based on horticultural demand. Recent additions such as our Mulch Calculator, Container Substrate Calculator, and Mineral N-P-K Fertilizer Calculator were built directly in response to grower feedback. If there is a calculation bottleneck in your daily workflow, describe your desired inputs and outputs.
Academic & Educational Citation
University educators, Master Gardener programs, and vocational horticulture programs are welcome to reference and link to our guides and interactive tools. For permissions regarding republishing comprehensive tables or charts in printed textbooks, please email contact@loamcalc.com.
Commercial Agriculture & Municipal Workflows
Commercial nursery growers, landscape architects, and municipal urban agriculture departments requiring customized bulk density lookup tables, specialized organic compost substrates, or bulk PDF export configurations can reach out to our engineering lead to discuss custom calibration integrations.
Student Research & Extension Dataset Access
We provide complimentary Pro research access passes for verified horticultural graduate students, doctoral researchers, and county extension agents conducting research on irrigation water efficiency, soil carbon sequestration, or urban micro-farming economics.
Data Security & Vulnerability Disclosure
LoamCalc strictly adheres to local storage minimization and secure HTTPS standards. If you discover a potential client-side vulnerability or caching issue, please submit a detailed reproduction script directly to contact@loamcalc.com with [Security Audit] in the subject line.
